An engine swap is the process of removing a car’s original engine and replacing it with another. This is usually done either because of failure or to install a different engine, usually one that is bigger and better to make your car more powerful and or economical. Sometimes older engines may have a shortage of spare parts and so a modern replacement may be more easily and cheaply maintained.

A logbook service is recommended if your vehicle is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty or the service history indicates full compliance with the manufacturer's service schedule. The logbook car service will follow the maintenance schedule set out in the manufacturer’s handbook. Normally a logbook service will be identified by either the distance the vehicle has travelled or the amount of time that has elapsed since its last service, 10,000 km or 6 months as an example.

You won't need to remember when it's due as our admin staff will contact you at the agreed time to organise a time for the air conditioner service.

Each air conditioning system service will vary slightly but most will involve these basic checks: 

• clean filters,
• check gas levels,
• check that heating and cooling functions are working,
• check the airflow,
• check all functions of the air conditioning are operational,
• check the electrical connections,
• check if the units are in good working order and that the fan is operational.

Most service is done based on the manufacturers' requirements and ranges from 6 months to 12 months.

We service all makes and models according to the recommended maintenance intervals. A General Service is recommended if your vehicle’s warranty has expired or the service history is unknown. • Pre-Purchase Inspection

Considering purchasing a used car? Then a pre-purchase inspection is a necessity when determining a vehicles overall condition. Our comprehensive inspection procedure will not only identify mechanical faults but also inspect the vehicles structure, body panels and electrical components. All pre-purchase inspection gives you a written report on completion. We do not offer a mobile pre-purchase inspection service. The current cost of a pre-purchase inspection is $245.

• Diagnostic Inspection

A car diagnostic inspection can determine if your vehicle has issues with its engine, exhaust, transmission, ignition coils, oil tank, throttle, and more. Engine settings need to be continually monitored and adjusted to account for many variables. There are a variety of sensors that send signals and they are monitored and these signals and makes adjustments to dozens of parameters such as ignition timing and fuel injection settings. We diagnose and ensure the engine and transmission run efficiently and exhaust emissions are kept within the permitted ranges. Emission regulations together with soaring fuel costs, make it vital to run as efficiently as possible.
